Job summary
A leading housing organization in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves supporting financial processes, managing service charges, and contributing to budgeting and audits. Candidates should have relevant accountancy qualifications and experience in delivering financial services. This hybrid position offers flexibility with office and home working in Liverpool.
Qualifications
- Part or fully qualified professional accountancy qualification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA).
- Strong knowledge of accountancy practice.
- Experience with service and support charges in a housing environment.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to the annual service charge review.
- Maintaining the service charge accounting model.
- Assisting with monthly management accounts.
