A leading housing organization in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves supporting financial processes, managing service charges, and contributing to budgeting and audits. Candidates should have relevant accountancy qualifications and experience in delivering financial services. This hybrid position offers flexibility with office and home working in Liverpool.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-focused Assistant Accountant (Service & Support Charges) to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed‑term contract. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience supporting financial processes in a large or complex organisation. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate, transparent and customer‑focused service and support charge information across the Group.
This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Typical office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, working alongside the rest of the team, but there is some flexibility. Occasional travel may be required to our offices in St Helens and Warrington.
Candidates will undergo in‑person interviews, consisting of a competency‑based interview. Interviews will take place on Thursday 15th January 2026 at our Liverpool City Centre office.
