A leading consultancy in engineering in the UK is seeking a Design Manager Buildings to join their Maritime & Defence team. This role offers a variety of projects and career development opportunities. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering, along with experience in the design and construction of major industrial buildings. The position provides an industry-leading benefits package including a company car, health insurance, and annual leave.

Experience required…
- Batchelor’s degree in architecture or engineering
- Experience in the design and construction of major new industrial buildings with multifunctionality – workshops, storage and offices.
- Security clearance
- Experience working in the defence sector.
- Experience in stake holder management.
- Knowledge of HSE requirements
- Experience in the management of multidisciplinary design elements of buildings and ensuring designer technical performance.
- Preferred Chartered architect or engineer registered with the appropriate body.
- Beneficial to have experience on high hazard facilities in the nuclear sector or hospitals such as X-Ray facilities.
- Technical experience in managing facility upgrades or construction projects.
