We’re seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to take on a key contract role within a sensitive, security-cleared environment.

Competitive day rate of £400–£550. This position begins with an initial 3–6 month contract, with strong potential for a long‑term extension (up to 2–3 years). This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering high‑impact projects within a technically complex and secure setting, working alongside multidisciplinary teams at the forefront of UK infrastructure and engineering.

Security Clearance Requirement: Due to the nature of this environment, CTC (Counter Terrorist Check) clearance or equivalent is mandatory. Applicants without valid clearance will not be considered. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all aspects of project delivery, ensuring successful execution of construction and engineering programmes.
• Create, manage, and maintain programmes of works, ensuring projects remain on time, on budget, and compliant with scope.
• Oversee construction and engineering activities from planning through delivery, ensuring technical standards are met.
• Coordinate design, engineering, and contractor teams, fostering effective communication and risk management.
• Monitor project performance, provide progress reporting, and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in a controlled, secure environment.
• Contribute to strategic planning and programme improvement within a long‑term infrastructure framework.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager within engineering‑led or infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical understanding of construction methodologies and engineering principles.
• Demonstrated ability to create, run, and manage detailed programmes of works using industry‑standard tools (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Active CTC clearance (or equivalent) – essential for immediate consideration.
• Ability to start promptly, reflecting the contract’s fast‑paced nature.
