Director of Strategy - The O2

Now, we're looking for a visionary Director of Strategy to lead the strategic direction for The O2's thriving Premium and Retail operations. This is a high-profile role at one of the world's most iconic entertainment venues, shaping long term growth, enhancing customer experience, and driving commercial success.This role reports into the Venue Director and will work closely with the General Manager.

The role in a nutshell.
  • Lead the strategy for Premium, Retail, and Conference & Event operations, aligned with Levy and AEG's objectives.
  • Identify new revenue streams, partnerships, and innovation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with commercial, operations, and marketing teams to optimise venue utilisation and retail performance.
  • Drive operational excellence through process improvements, technology adoption, and data driven KPIs.
  • Design and execute growth strategies to expand The O2's market share.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Inspire and develop a high performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

  • Proven experience in a strategic leadership role, ideally within events, hospitality, retail, or venue operations, however not essential.
  • Proven track record in commercial growth, operational transformation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and commercial acumen.
