A healthcare organization in the City of London is seeking a Clinical / Counselling Psychologist for a Band 7, 12-month fixed-term post. The role involves providing specialist assessments and interventions for adults facing complex difficulties. Candidates should have experience across modalities like CBT and Psychodynamic therapies, and a commitment to professional development. This position offers the flexibility of a small remote working component, while mainly being on-site.
We are pleased to be recruiting for a Clinical /Counselling Psychologist for a Band 7, 12 month Fixed Term post in the Tower Hamlets Psychological Therapies Service (PTS).
PTS is a friendly and supportive team, highly committed to providing effective treatments to adults with complex difficulties, including depression, anxiety and trauma. We are looking for someone who can provide specialist assessments and individual and group interventions in line with their competencies. Experience of working in more than one modality including CBT, Psychodynamic, MBT, DBT, EMDR, CFT and the capacity to integrate models is welcome.
Our service model aims to meet the needs of the local population through working closely with the locality neighbourhood teams, including the complex emotional needs and personality disorder services.
The post holder will be working predominantly in person in the service, however, a small, remote working component may be accommodated.
Participate in CPD and other developmental activities, keeping up to date with relevant psychological research and national guidance (DoH, NICE etc).
