Qualifications
- Experience in technology procurement or category management.
- Knowledge of software, networks, cybersecurity, and hardware.
- Ability to develop procurement strategies.
Responsibilities
- Build deep market insight and develop category strategies.
- Design and deliver procurement plans.
- Mentor Buyers in execution of procurement projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve objectives.
Skills
Working Pattern: 2-3 days on site per week
Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK with British citizenship.
Due to growth within our clients Digital Procurement team, they are seeking two skilled Group Category Managers to help shape and deliver our digital procurement strategy. If you have experience in technology procurement or are eager to develop your expertise in this area, we would be delighted to hear from you.
- Experienced Technology Procurement Practitioners with category management expertise in areas such as:
- Software (Business Software, Software Services, Integration, Projects, or Engineering & Manufacturing Software)
- Networks and Telecoms
- Cybersecurity
- Artificial Intelligence and High-Performance Computing
- Hardware
- IT Services (Back Office, Front Office)
- Data Centres and Storage
- Senior Procurement Professionals operating at Group Category Management level or in an international context, seeking to develop within one of these technology categories.
- Build deep market insight, develop category strategies, and identify risks and opportunities.
- Design and deliver short, medium, and long term procurement plans.
- Mentor and support Buyers in executing complex procurement projects.
- Collaborate at Group level as a trusted business partner to achieve shared objectives
