PART TIME BOOKKEEPER
Job summary
A local engineering firm in Walsall is seeking a part time Bookkeeper to manage accounts, invoicing, and compliance. The role requires strong experience with Sage 50 Accounts and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Offering flexible hours of 14 per week over two days with a salary of £13.00 to £14.50 per hour, depending on experience. Interested candidates should send their CV to Georgia or call for more info.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Sage 50 Accounts required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Invoice Finance experience is a plus.
- Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
- AAT qualification desired but not essential.
- Be immediately available.
Responsibilities
- Booking in deliveries and posting Supplier Invoices.
- Sending customer invoices and posting payments.
- Payables and receivables ledger management.
- Credit Control.
- Bank Reconciliation.
- Sending remittances and statements.
- Liaising with external Accountants for year end prep.
- HMRC compliance.
- Occasional ad hoc duties such as answering phones.

Our Engineering firm based on Aldridge Industrial Estate are urgently looking for an experienced part time Bookkeeper to join our small office team. This is a permanent role.
- Booking in deliveries and posting Supplier Invoices

- Bank Reconciliation

Hours available are currently 14 a week to be worked over 2 days with a choice of Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Working hours are 8.30am to 15.30pm. Salary is £13.00 to £14.50 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications.
