Lunchtime assistant

We are a family run nursery looking for a new team member to meet the needs of the children in terms of care and welfare at lunchtime.
- To meet the needs of the children, talk and listen to them and interact in a positive way at all times.
- To meet the needs of the children in relation to welfare, hygiene, toileting, dressing and feeding.
- To assist in creating a positive calm atmosphere during lunchtime.
- To serve prepared food, following food hygiene practices.
- To work within the settings policies and procedures.
- To assist key persons in maintaining children daily records and passing information on children eating habits daily.
- To attend staff meetings and training as advised by the manager
- To liaise with other staff about children progress.
- To take care for their own and other peoples health and safety.
- To advise the manager of any concerns regarding safety.
