A leading healthcare trust in Margate is seeking a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to oversee patient care for respiratory conditions. Responsibilities include managing daily ward functions, supporting the Ward Manager, and supervising staff. The ideal candidate will have clinical experience in an acute setting, strong leadership, and the ability to work under pressure. Qualifications
- Proven and current experience in the Acute Medicine setting.
- Hold registered mentor or teaching/education qualification.
- Clinical competence in IV drug administration, venepuncture & cannulation.
- Completion of preceptorship.
Responsabilités
- Oversee the day‑to‑day function of the ward.
- Support the Ward Manager with day‑to‑day management.
- Manage post holders within the ward establishment.
- Lead a team and ensure an appropriately skilled and effective workforce.
