A leading utility company in Coventry is seeking a Head of Group FP&A to guide financial performance and analysis. This strategic position involves leading a large team and influencing key decisions at the senior executive level. Ideal candidates will have ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications and a strong track record in managing finance in complex environments. We are looking for our next Head of FP&A who reports to the Group Chief Financial Officer and will have overall strategic responsibility for all Financial Performance, Reporting & Analysis across Severn Trent to support Board and Executive decisions.
The Head of FP&A will set out the vision of what a genuinely brilliant FP&A function looks like and lead the function in delivering that vision to build a trusted and well-loved brand across the executive, senior leaders and PLC Board.
The role is also responsible for providing finance business partnering to key business units across Severn Trent, and partners with their respective Executive member and their leadership teams.
Overall, this is a large leadership role with a team of c30 people split across FP&A and Business Partnering. It provides critical support to the CFO and will be their ‘go-to’ on all financial decisions, including investment decisions, and other growth opportunities.
Finally, the role will also be part of both the finance leadership team, and Severn Trent’s overall senior management team, contributing not just to our Finance leadership but the overall leadership and running of the business.
