A local repair shop in Colchester is seeking a full-time Mechanic. You will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, and repair of HGV & PSV vehicles. The ideal candidate should have mechanical knowledge, vehicle diagnostics skills, and a commitment to delivering quality service. - Carry out HGV & PSV Inspections & Servicing.
- Perform vehicle diagnostics.

Skills
Due to increasing work volumes we are looking for a self motivated individual to join our growing business in Colchester. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles.
- Carrying out HGV & PSV Inspections & Servicing
- Vehicle Diagnostics
- MOT Preparation
- General vehicle repairs and maintenance
Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm with occasional Saturdays as and when required
- Have previous experience working in a busy workshop
- Have a full UK driving license (HGV preferable but not essential)
- Have a strong awareness of health & Safety
- Be reliable and trustworthy
- Be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Take pride in their work
- Welding qualification desirable but not essential
- Rate of Pay negotiable depending on experience
As a Mechanic you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your core skills in vehicle maintenance and repair, coupled with a commitment to quality service, will be essential in delivering excellent customer service on which we pride ourselves.
