As a Consultant in our team, you will work as part of a team of private markets industry specialists in our practice and have the opportunity to:

• Leverage your industry knowledge and network to become a leading expert in the market.
• Focus on the delivery of client work that will successfully fulfil and exceed client expectations and deliver engagement and programme objectives.
• Actively participate in, and contribute to, the development of the Operations Transformation practice team, including supporting proposition development and thought leadership.

• Experience working in the Alternative Investment Management/Private markets.
• Experience driving change and impacting operating models of private markets investment managers.
• A track record of designing and delivering transformational change.
• Proven ability to mobilise and motivate teams, establishing the specific day-to-day plans, projects and objectives needed.
• Broad network in private markets.
• Experience in leading client relationships and managing key stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Able to articulate complex ideas to client stakeholders.
• Have an understanding of risk, how to mitigate risk and protect the firm’s reputation.
• Have a “can do” attitude with a real willingness to learn and participate.
• Bring enthusiasm and passion for the delivery of market leading solutions that make a difference.

Personal independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
