Virtual Build Analyst- 36259315 - Gaydon - £27.30/hr - Inside IR35

Do you have experience managing Engineering BoMs from CAD, ensuring CAD data quality, and using the 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform to review designs?

As a CAD Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in bridging the virtual and physical worlds of product development, ensuring that every detail is perfect for prototype build readiness. What You Will Do:

• Create and manage Engineering Bills of Materials (BoMs) for full vehicle programmes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with key datasets.
• Identify and resolve geometry quality issues in CAD data ahead of part ordering, guaranteeing buildable and flawless designs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to investigate and fix non-buildable geometry, driving resolutions with precision and efficiency.
• Lead and support CAD quality reviews with stakeholders and customers, ensuring all data meets the highest standards.
• Ensure seamless integration between Engineering BoMs and parts ordering systems, supporting prototype build readiness.

What You Will Bring:

• Strong understanding of CAD compatibility and data quality, with proven experience in resolving CAD-related issues.
• Proficiency in using the 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform to view and assess CAD data effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
• A detail-oriented and analytical mindset, coupled with a track record of managing technical project planning and complex workstreams.
• Confidence in working across cross-functional teams and influencing decisions to achieve successful outcomes.
