At Teledyne Gas Measurement Instruments we are on a lookout for a Technical Support Engineer with a background in gas detection or portable electronic instrumentation. This role is ideal for someone eager to become a trusted advisor to our customers offering expert support on our range of gas detection instruments.

Provide specialized technical support for gas detection equipment via phone email and other channels.

Diagnose and resolve issues related to gas detection instruments ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Work collaboratively across teams to streamline customer issue resolution.

Accurately document interactions and maintain detailed customer records.

Conduct on-site customer training with travel up to 30%.

Audit authorized Teledyne GMI Service Centers to uphold our standards.

Offer comprehensive training on the usage maintenance and servicing of gas detection products.

Take on additional responsibilities as directed by management.

A degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience with gas detection equipment or portable electronic instrumentation.

Strong understanding of engineering processes and the ability to support related software applications.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Previous experience in customer support roles.

Ability to travel internationally and domestically with up to 30% travel.

Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

High proficiency in IT.

Flexibility to occasionally work late afternoons to support American customers.
