Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK is looking for an experienced candidate to lead key administration projects in pensions. The role requires experience in pensions consultancy and excellent communication skills. Qualifications

  • Experience in a top-tier pensions consultancy or large defined benefit pension scheme.
  • Working knowledge of Consumer Duties requirements.
  • Experience in an FCA regulated industry.

Job description
What you'll do:
  • Lead the initiation and implementation of key administration projects e.g. pensions dashboards, GMP equalisation, factor reviews, legislative change.
  • Support in new administration client implementations: Work with administration system provider, admin systems team, clients and the wider business to improve system automation.
  • Participate in external industry forums: Monitor upcoming legislative and regulatory changes impacting pensions administration.
  • Oversee the implementation of annual scheme events: Identify opportunities to contribute to the business's financial success, including areas for revenue generation and develop and manage budgets related to administration projects.
This role would suit someone who has:
  • Experience in a top-tier pensions consultancy / third-party administrator or from a large defined benefit pension scheme.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong numeric, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude & energy.
  • Knowledge of the pensions risk transfer market, including working with schemes as they move through the buy-in to buy‑out process.
  • Experience in working in an FCA regulated industry with working knowledge of Consumer Duties requirements.
  • Pensions qualification such as FIA or PMI.
