Job description

Our client are currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their team. Reporting to the Finance Director and being an active member of the senior executive you will play a key role in managing the day to day finance function as well as supporting key decision making for the executive

Duties will include
  • Lead all daily finance operations : accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
  • Establish robust financial controls, ensure full compliance, and act as strategic advisor to the executive team.
  • Own monthly management accounts, statutory financials, and group reporting—delivering accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Drive budgeting and forecasting cycles, track performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide clear strategic recommendations.
  • Manage working capital and liquidity, oversee payroll and VAT, and provide expert guidance on revenue recognition for long-term contracts.
  • Champion process automation and system improvements to enhance efficiency across the finance function.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, building a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
