Head of Technical (Engineering compliance) – PFI NHS – Manchester – £75k – £85k plus car/allowance

Based on a large PFI healthcare contract covering 5 sites, you’ll be working for the FM company that manages the lifecycle fund, while another company delivers Hard FM.

You will have overall responsibility for technical compliance, leading on the technical disciplines that relate to building infrastructure and mechanical and electrical infrastructure. Developing lifecycle plans, be familiar with CIBSE coding, asset management and be solutions focused.

You will work closely and collaboratively with the other FM business to identify assets that might need replacement, interrogating where necessary their maintenance and PPM regime to ensure they’ve been maintained in line with HTM’s, HBN’s, O&M guidance, manufacturers guidelines etc.

You will work with the PM’s to validate and approve elements of the lifecycle scheme proposals including technical assessments and solutions, whilst maximising opportunities when developing lifecycle schemes, for example decarbonisation works.

Preferably with an Electrical background in a PFI environment, you will be Chartered or willing to become Chartered with previous AP appointments held in healthcare. You will also have knowledge of mechanical systems and associated compliance.
