A charitable educational institution in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Part-time Teacher of Animal Care. The role involves overseeing the delivery of vocational qualifications and enhancing students' employability skills. Teacher of Animal Care
Contract – Permanent – Part-time
Working Hours – 32hrs per week, 08.30 - 4.30 (Monday to Friday)
Salary – £25,584 - £27,540 per annum subject to qualifications – DET Qualified teachers are currently in receipt of a temporary market supplement of £1,700 per annum, payable as an additional premium above the contractual base salary.

The purpose of the role is to oversee the day-to-day delivery of the vocational Animal Care Qualification from level 1 to 2. As well as support the delivery of the wider curriculum to students on employability skills, CV writing, Interview skills, job applications etc.
