We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive team at various schools around Cambridgeshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to make a significant impact on pupils’ learning and development in Key Stage 2.

As a KS2 Teacher, you will create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where pupils are challenged, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. You will play a vital role in preparing students for their transition to secondary school, developing their literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills, and fostering their love for learning. This role begins June 2025.

1. Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
2. Support pupils in developing their independent learning skills and confidence.
3. Assess, track, and report on pupil progress to ensure continued development.
4. Differentiate lessons to support the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils.
5. Promote a positive classroom environment with strong behaviour management strategies.
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and support staff.
7. Engage with parents and carers to build strong home-school partnerships.
8. Take part in staff meetings, CPD opportunities, and school initiatives.

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (desirable but not essential for ECTs).
3. A passion for engaging and inspiring young learners.
4. Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teacher.
6. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
