Job Title: Qualified Social Worker – Adults MASH Team

Salary: £32.07 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join the Adults Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team in Huyton. This ongoing locum role offers a competitive hourly rate of £32.07 and a hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of two office days per week. • Undertake complex case assessments, applying a minimum of two years’ recent safeguarding Section 42 experience
• Collaborate with multiple agencies within MASH to ensure comprehensive safeguarding responses
• Apply conflict resolution and crisis management skills to handle challenging situations effectively
• Produce detailed reports to inform decision-making, utilising strong report writing abilities
• Engage with individuals and families, providing guidance and support on safeguarding matters
• Adapt to the fast-paced MASH environment, managing change and challenges efficiently
• Implement knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and Human Rights Act to guide practice

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
• Minimum of two years’ recent safeguarding Section 42 experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across multi-agency teams
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding frameworks
