Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a Youth Support Worker for a specialist provision near Berkeley, Gloucestershire. Start this September to support 15 children with SEND across two cohorts, ages 2–19, on a Tue-Fri pattern. Long-term for the full academic year with a strong chance of permanency.

The role involves holistic activities—learning through play, baking, gardening and sports—plus safeguarding and DBS checks. Own transport essential due to the remote location.

Qualifications

• Must have enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to obtain a new one.
• Own transport due to remote location of the setting.
• Experience with SEND, Autism, SEMH or global delay is beneficial.
