Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Children’s Activity Based Support Worker in Gloucester. You will reside at the activities centre during four working days, with accommodation and meals provided, supporting children aged 8-18 with social, emotional and mental health challenges.

The role combines care duties with adventure-based activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking and kayaking. A full UK driving licence is essential and you must be over 21 to apply, with a 39-hour week and 4 days on/7 days

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle – essential.
• Must be over 21 years old.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Ability to build nurturing relationships with young people and provide daily care.
• Engage in outdoor activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking and kayaking.

Responsibilities

• Build nurturing relationships with young people and provide emotional stability and daily care.
• Lead outdoor activities to foster confidence and life skills.
• Work within a supportive team to create a safe, caring environment.
• Support personal and social development through structured activities and routines.
• Adhere to a 4 days on / 7 days off shift pattern including sleep-ins.
