Job summary

Inicio Group Ltd in Derby is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our accommodation and youth support team. You will help 16–19-year-olds transition from care, with a focus on independence and personal development.

The role is full-time (34 hours) with sleeps, operating on a 3-week rolling rota including weekends and evenings. A welcome bonus of £500 is paid in stages, plus a £75 sleep-in allowance per night.

Qualifications

• Level 3/4 in Health & Social Care (desired).
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience (desired).
• Hold a valid driving licence and access to own vehicle (required).
• Minimum age 21 years of age (required).
• Willing to do Sleep In shifts (required).

Responsibilities

• Work with young people to promote independence and prepare them for adulthood.
• Collaborate on multiagency basis with internal and external professionals.
• Ensure wrap-around support and non-discrimination in service delivery.
• Be a positive role model for young people and colleagues.
