Job summary

Inicio Group Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist young people aged 16 to 19 in Derby. You will promote independence and support transitions into adulthood, working with multiple agencies to ensure comprehensive wrap-around care. Strong communication and resilience are essential.

The role includes a 34-hour week with sleeps, a £500 welcome bonus, and a sleeping-in allowance. Training and development are provided, with DBS checks and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Level 3/4 in Health & Social Care (Desired).
Minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience (Desired).
Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle (Required).
Minimum age 21 (Required).
DBS on Update Service (Desired).
Willing & able to do Sleep In shifts (Required).

Responsibilities

Work alongside young people to promote independence and prepare them to transition into adulthood.
Provide wrap-around support in a multiagency setting with internal and external professionals.
Treat individuals with equality, dignity and without discrimination.
