Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living is seeking a Project Worker for Swan House Foyer in Basildon to support young people in a caring, community-focused team. The role offers part-time hours at £14.57 per hour, with the post based in Basildon, Essex, and a commitment to helping residents reach their potential.

You will assist with daily living, signpost to education and employment, manage finances, and promote independence while upholding safeguarding and tenancy standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerable people and confidence in supporting young people.
• Welcomes guidance while using initiative to support independence.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment and support planning.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and update support plans.
• Support with daily living tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
• Advise on tenancy conditions and finances/welfare benefits.
• Encourage social inclusion and build confidence and resilience.
• Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met.
