Job summary

Sanctuary Scotland Housing Association Limited in Felixstowe (IP11 2NB) is hiring a Project Worker to join our young people service. You will assess needs, update support plans, signpost to education, training and employment, and support with daily living tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable people
• Positive approach to supporting young people with a range of needs
• Strong interpersonal and customer care skills
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of support planning, risk assessment and safeguarding
• Willingness to work towards NVQ3
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and update support plans
• Signpost to education, training and employment
• Support day-to-day living such as cooking and cleaning
• Advise on tenancy conditions
• Assist with managing finances and welfare benefits
• Encourage social inclusion and build confidence
• Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met
