Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living is seeking a Bank Project Worker to join our care team at Prices Court, Sittingbourne and 106 Whitstable Road, Canterbury. The role pays £14.01 per hour with hours as and when required, supporting young people in a community-focused, OFSTED-registered service.

You will assess needs, support with daily living tasks, and help customers meet tenancy conditions while safeguarding and promoting welfare.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable people.
• Strong interpersonal and customer care skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work on your own initiative.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and risk assessment is desirable.
• Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs, update support plans, and signpost to education, training, and employment.
• Support customers with daily living tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
• Offer advice to help customers meet tenancy conditions.
• Assist with managing finances and welfare benefits.
• Promote social inclusion and help build confidence and resilience.
• Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met.
