Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council is recruiting Youth Support Workers to engage with young people across the county. The role is sessional, typically evenings or weekends, with each session lasting 2.5 hours.

We seek individuals who care about youth development and can build bonds, engage activities, and guide growth. Roles cover Mansfield, Gedling, Broxtowe and Newark areas, with supportive resources and a commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in working with young people.
• Basic understanding of the issues affecting youth today.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different situations.
• No formal qualifications are required, but experience in youth work or related fields is a plus.
