Nottingham Mencap is seeking a Support and Enablement Worker - Befriending to support individuals in the community and at home through tailored activities designed to help them achieve their personal aims. The role emphasizes compassionate, person-centred support and practical engagement in everyday activities.

We’re looking for caring people who can work after school, evenings and weekends; availability through school holidays is a bonus as many we support are school-age.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals within their family home, in the community through activities tailored to the individual.
• Provide 1-2-1 support to children, young people and adults in the community to help them achieve aims such as socialising, travel training and healthy living.
