Job summary

Rotherwood Cares is recruiting experienced Youth Support Workers to support young people aged 16-18 in a supported accommodation service in Ainsdale, near Liverpool.

The role involves practical and emotional support, encouraging independence, assisting with daily living skills, and safeguarding. Sleep-ins are available and shifts run 10:00am–10:00pm with cover for sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with young people in supported accommodation, residential childcare or care settings.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
• Compassionate, resilient and reliable approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to young people.

• Promote wellbeing, safeguarding and positive outcomes.

This service supports 3 young people, helping them develop independence, confidence and essential life skills as they prepare for adulthood.

The Role
