Job summary

Rotherwood Cares in Kirkby is recruiting experienced Youth Support Workers to assist young people aged 16-18 within a supported accommodation service. You will provide practical and emotional support to help them develop independence and essential life skills as they prepare for adulthood.

This role offers regular 10:00am-10:00pm shifts with sleep-ins available, weekly pay, ongoing opportunities, and dedicated consultant support to help you succeed in this flexible agency role.

Qualifications

• Experience with young people in supported accommodation or care settings.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
• Compassionate, resilient and reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Providing practical and emotional support to young people.
• Encouraging independence and positive decision-making.
• Supporting with daily living skills and routines.
• Promoting wellbeing, safeguarding and positive outcomes.
