Job summary

Rotherwood Cares is recruiting experienced Youth Support Workers to support 16-18 year olds in a supported accommodation service in Bury. The role involves enabling independence, providing practical and emotional support, and promoting wellbeing and safeguarding.

Shifts run 10:00am–10:00pm with sleep-ins available; weekly pay and ongoing opportunities are offered along with dedicated consultant support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with young people in supported accommodation, residential childcare or care settings.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
• Compassionate, resilient and reliable approach.

Rotherwood Cares are currently recruiting experienced Youth Support Workers to support young people aged 16-18 within a supported accommodation service in Bury.

This service supports 3 young people, helping them develop independence, confidence and essential life skills as they prepare for adulthood.

The Role

• Completing support notes and handovers

Requirements

• Previous experience working with young people, supported accommodation, residential childcare or care settings
• Knowledge of safeguarding and professional boundaries
• A compassionate, resilient and reliable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred
