Job summary

Nudge Education Limited is seeking compassionate practitioners to provide personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs in a community setting. You will deliver tailored intervention sessions, build trust with learners, and collaborate with families and professionals to support progress.

This role offers flexible opportunities based on location and student match, with daytime hours and competitive hourly rates (£16–£25).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting young people with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
  • Experience of managing physical/challenging behaviour.
  • Experience of using PODD communication systems.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of three days’ availability per week.
  • Willingness to obtain business car insurance prior to commencing the role.
  • Experience working with ADHD and SEMH is required.
  • Experience and confidence working with challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored intervention sessions.
  • Build positive and consistent relationships with young people.
  • Monitor progress and report safeguarding concerns.
  • Complete risk assessments and maintain accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and regional teams.
