Job summary
Protocol Education Ltd seeks Teaching Assistants and Support Workers to work in a specialist children’s secure unit. You will support young people with complex emotional, behavioural, and educational needs, providing stability, encouragement and consistency to help them engage with education and develop skills for the future.
No two days will be the same, with responsibilities spanning classroom support, behaviour management and developing practical life skills alongside education and care

Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support and supervision for learners.
- Assist classroom activities and education delivery.
- Support emotional regulation and behaviour management.
- Support communication and social development.
- Help establish positive routines and boundaries.
- Work on individual targets and support plans.
- Develop practical and life skills with learners.
- Build relationships with professionals across teams.
