Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Morpeth is seeking Teaching Assistants and Support Workers to support young people in a specialist children's secure unit, helping them access education and develop essential skills in a structured setting.

You will work closely with teaching and care teams, providing 1:1 and small-group support, reinforcing learning, behaviour management and emotional regulation to help learners progress.

Qualifications

• Experience could include Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, Youth Worker, Behaviour Mentor, Residential Worker or Care Worker.

Teaching Assistant / Support Worker – Secure Education Setting

Protocol Education is seeking Teaching Assistants and Support Workers to support young people within a specialist children's secure unit.

The education team works to help young people continue learning and develop important skills despite the challenges they may be facing.

You'll play an important role in helping create a positive learning environment where young people can feel supported, understood and encouraged to make progress.
