Job summary

Warwickshire College Group is seeking a King’s Trust Team Leader to oversee a 12‑week NEET programme in Bromsgrove/ Redditch, delivering face-to-face learning and coordinating with local partners. You will recruit and lead a team of young people, ensure health and safety, monitor progress, and produce regular reports to the line manager.

Successful candidates will complete the Award in Education and Training and may undertake additional training as directed.

Qualifications

GCSE Grade C or above in English and Mathematics or equivalent.
Experience of working effectively with groups of young adults.
Experience of working effectively with people with challenging behaviours.
Experience of planning, organising and completing practical projects.
Ability to demonstrate leadership and team building skills.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, including report writing skills.
Excellent organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Recruitment of the team of young people, liaising with training managers and external agencies.
Deliver the team programme face-to-face.
Set objectives to meet team and individual needs and learning outcomes.
Plan, supervise and coordinate team projects and placements.
Provide leadership and guide health, safety and welfare.
Organise residential weeks with the Team during the academic year.
Attend college delivered training and contribute to development.
