Job summary

Adullam Homes Housing Association Ltd is seeking a Service Coordinator to support young people in our Chesterfield service. You will provide person-centred support to help them gain independence, including budgeting, housing maintenance, cooking and safe decision-making.

You will work empathetically with individuals who may have left fostering or asylum-seeking backgrounds, guiding their education engagement and health. The organisation prioritises safeguarding and a respectful workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Nurturing person-centred support to suit the needs of every young person accessing the service.
• Candidate must be empathetic, knowledgeable and professional in understanding the needs of young people transitioning to adulthood.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of service users.

Responsibilities

• Guide young people to gain confidence and skills to move to independent accommodation.
• Help develop budgeting, accommodation maintenance and cooking skills.
• Encourage engagement in education and safe health behaviours.
• Support young people to overcome barriers and learn skills toward independence.
• Contribute to the Association’s values, culture and ethos.
