Job summary

YMCA Trinity Group is seeking an Accommodation Case Worker in Ipswich to support young people in developing independence within a safe and nurturing environment.

You will manage residents' caseloads, conduct risk assessments, safeguard, and collaborate with partners to access services, while ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards. 40-hour week with a rotating pattern including evenings and weekends; salary £28,246.40–£29,369.60 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with young people or in a supported housing environment.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and risk assessment.
• Understanding of housing, benefits and support services (e.g. DWP).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work on a 7-day rota including evenings and weekends.
• Committed to achieving at least a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of residents with accurate records and support plans.
• Complete risk assessments and identify safeguarding concerns.
• Provide tailored, person-centred support to help residents gain independence.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet residents' needs.
• Maintain compliance with standards, including Ofsted, and contribute to audits and meetings.
