Job summary

YMCA Trinity Group in Ipswich is seeking an Assistant Engagement Officer to join the Accommodation team. This weekend-only role involves planning activities, delivering engagement programmes and providing one-to-one support to vulnerable young residents.

You will work closely with Project Workers to create a safe, supportive environment, with induction, regular supervision and opportunities for progression. DBS checks are provided.

• High standard of communication, people and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to use IT software including Microsoft Office and online databases.
• Ability to work within a reactive environment and stay calm under pressure.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Accommodation team, where you’ll help deliver engagement and intervention programmes tailored to the needs of young people. Days and hours – 16 hours over weekends

What we offer

Annual salary £10,574.72 (£12.71 per hour)

• 5 weeks holiday & public holiday allowance, plus a paid day off for your birthday (Pro rata)
