Job summary
Grimsby Town Football Club is seeking Casual Goalkeeper Coaches to support the Grimsby Town Academy GK programme for youth players (u7-u16). You will coach, plan, and review sessions and work closely with phase leads to drive player development.
The role requires UEFA C Licence in GK, safeguarding certification, and first aid knowledge. You will maintain Kitman Labs records and participate in staff meetings while upholding club values.
Qualifications
- Minimum UEFA C Licence Goalkeeping with the commitment to complete B License.
- FA Safeguarding Certification required.
- Emergency First Aid In football (EFAIF) required.
- FA Youth Award preferred.
- FA Youth Advanced Award preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coach and manage across the Schoolboy (u7-u16) goalkeeping programme.
- Deliver age-specific GK coaching syllabus as per timetable.
- Complete weekly session plans and individual player reviews, upload to Kitman Labs.
- Maintain Kitman Labs administration: planning, evaluations, attendance, match assessments.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to progression and development of the Academy.
- Communicate progress with parents/guardians and uphold safeguarding standards.
