Job summary

Liverpool FC is seeking a Casual Goalkeeping Coach to join the LFC Foundation, delivering specialised goalkeeping sessions within the Football Development Programme across Merseyside.

You will design individual and group training, work with health staff on activation/prehab, and maintain safety and safeguarding standards while supporting players' development and enjoyment of the game.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young athletes in a football environment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
• Experience coaching and understanding how children learn and develop.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• National Goalkeeping Course and FA UEFA C qualification.
• FA DBS and FA Safeguarding Children requirements.
• Knowledge of injury minimisation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee goalkeeping sessions within the Girls Centre.
• Design individual and group goalkeeping programmes.
• Coordinate activation / prehab with health staff.
• Maintain safe facilities and kit.
• Keep detailed records per FA standards.
• Communicate with parents on development and injury care.
• Advise staff on player needs; attend case reviews.
• Educate coaches to embed goals in sessions.
• Support safeguarding and welfare with the Safeguarding Manager.
