Job summary

Bolton Wanderers Football Club (BWFC) is seeking a sessional Academy Goalkeeper Coach to support the development of players across technical, tactical, physical, and personal aspects. You will manage players in coaching sessions and Academy fixtures, liaise with parents, and ensure welfare and safety during activities.

The role requires a UEFA B Licence, ongoing FA Youth Award training, FA Licensed Coaching Club membership, and current Safeguarding/Emergency Aid cert.

Qualifications

• UEFA B Licence is required.
• Working towards FA Youth Award Modules 1-3 is desirable.
• Must be a member or intend to become a member of the FA Licensed Coaching Club.
• Hold in-date Safeguarding Children and Emergency Aid (EFAiF) certification.

Responsibilities

• Coach and support development of players in technical, tactical, physical, psychological, social and emotional aspects of football.
• Manage players in coaching sessions and Academy fixtures.
• Liaise with players/parents regarding progress and development regularly.
• Ensure welfare and safety of players during Academy sessions/fixtures.
• Supervise players during travel to away fixtures.
• Maintain all kit and equipment provided by BWFC.
• Prepare Individual Players reviews and game reports weekly using the Football Intelligence Platform.
• Plan and deliver Player Performance Reviews and Parent/Guardian meetings twice yearly in line with Academy guidelines.
