Job summary

LFC Foundation is looking for a Casual Goalkeeping Coach to support the Girls and Boys GK pathways and help players reach high performance in a safe, positive environment.

The role involves delivering GK sessions, coordinating with medical staff, maintaining facilities, and keeping records while communicating with parents and safeguarding players and staff. Flexible hours across Merseyside positions are available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young athletes in football.
• Understanding of child development in players.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures relevant to football.
• Experience coaching and teaching basic goalkeeping techniques.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong communication with players, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee girls GK centre and development programme.
• Design individual and group goalkeeping sessions.
• Collaborate with physiotherapist on activation/prehab plans.
• Maintain facilities and equipment in GK provision areas.
• Keep accurate records meeting FA standards and safeguarding rules.
• Engage with parents to explain GK development, injury prevention and recovery.
