Job summary

Aspire is seeking a Support Worker to help young people in their own homes and in the community, delivering personal and clinical care while managing complex needs, including autism and challenging behaviour.

You’ll work with empathy, listen well, build trusting relationships, and may work lone with 24-hour on-call support. Right to work in the UK, a driving licence and access to your own car are preferred; training and induction are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but we provide a full induction and ongoing training. What matters most is your ability to connect with people, your empathy, and your commitment to helping others.
• Right to work in the UK (WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP)
• UK Driving Licence
• Access to your own car would be advantageous
• Flexibility to work shift patterns (day, evening, or weekend)

• Provide personal and clinical care
• Dealing with complex needs including verbal and non verbal
• Supporting young people with autism and challenging behaviour
• Assist with medication, housing needs, appointments, and daily routines
• Encourage social participation and independence

Whether it’s helping someone feel confident in their own home or supporting them at a community event, you’ll play a vital role in helping people feel safe, empowered, and connected.

This role can involve lone working, with on‑call support available 24 hours a day.
