Job summary

British Red Cross are recruiting a Service Support Worker in Falkirk to provide personal, emotional and practical support to adults in their own homes or community. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, with business mileage reimbursed.

You’ll liaise with health and social care professionals to ensure high-quality care, support daily living tasks, and promote safety through welfare checks.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with physical, sensory, or mental health needs.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to register with the SSSC.
• Valid UK driving licence and vehicle access.

Support Worker

• Location: Falkirk
• Salary: £13.45 per hour
• Hours: Zero
• Contract: Casual
• Additional Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle, business mileage reimbursed
• Additional Requirement: Successful candidates will be required to register with the Scottish Social Security Council (SSSC) within 3 months of starting.
• Candidates are required to have the Right to Work in the UK. Unfortunately we cannot offer sponsorship for this role.
