Job summary

Randstad Care is seeking a Childrenu0027s residential Support Worker for shifts in Swansea. The role involves supporting young people in high-need residential settings, building trusting relationships and contributing to safety, stability and calm in daily life.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of UK care experience with youth, a trauma‑informed mindset and a valid UK driving licence. Flexible shifts, weekly pay and opportunities for block bookings are available.

• Composed, non-judgemental approach to managing complex and challenging behaviours.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for escorting young people on activities.

Pay: £14.00 to £20.00 per hour (Weekly Pay plus Holiday Pay)

When a young person faces severe upheaval, their daily environment can rapidly become chaotic and overwhelming. They do not need a strict observer; they require a grounding force who brings safety, stability, and calm into their home.

Randstad Care is building a specialised team of care workers to support young people across the Sketty and Uplands areas of Swansea. You will step into high needs residential environments, look beyond complex behaviours to understand underlying trauma, and help children regain control of their lives.

This position is ideal for candidates who have previously worked as a Youth Worker, Support Worker, Therapeutic Support Worker, Family Support Worker, Residential Childcare Worker, or Youth Mentor.
