Job summary

Hafan Saff Cyf is seeking Residential Support Workers for our children and young people in Merthyr Tydfil. This full-time role focuses on delivering person-centered care within our residential setting.

You will support daily living activities, act as a positive role model, and coordinate with families to ensure consistent care plans are followed.

Qualifications

• Ideally hold a QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People.
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in a Children's Residential Setting is preferred; training provided if needed.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Ideally, hold a QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People
• Experience in a Children's Residential Setting is preferred
• Full training and support to obtain the qualification provided for candidates without prior experience
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

What will your role look like?

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing appropriate care within ourhomes, in line with individual Personal Plans. Your responsibilities include:

• General daily care, including meal preparation, supervision, and support for children and young people
• Acting as a positive role model
• Liaising with the young person's family as appropriate
