Job summary

Change Grow Live in Sefton is seeking a Young Adults Worker to support 18–24 year-olds in the community with non-judgmental, harm-reduction focused services. The role involves caseload management, assessments, and delivering 1:1 and group interventions, in partnership with local agencies and safeguarding teams.

You will work within a supportive team led by a service manager, with plenty of training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with young adults (18–24) and sometimes under-18s.
• Knowledge of safeguarding for children, young people and adults.
• Ability to deliver 1:1 and group-based interventions and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of young adults using alcohol and/or drugs across Sefton.
• Conduct assessments, care planning and deliver 1:1 psychosocial and digital interventions.
• Facilitate group work, outreach and community events.
• Provide harm reduction advice and brief interventions.
• Work in partnership with external agencies, attend safeguarding meetings and deliver training.
• Demonstrate excellent engagement and partnership skills.
• Maintain robust safeguarding knowledge for all client groups.

Where:Sefton

Hours: Full Time 37.5 per week

Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the role:You’ll primarily support young adults aged 18–24 in the community, with some work involving under-18s. This role includes:
