Job summary

Change Grow Live is seeking a Homelessness Outreach Worker in St Helens to engage with rough sleepers and help them access accommodation, healthcare and support services. You will spend much of your time out in communities, building relationships and supporting individuals toward stable living.

This permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours) offers ongoing training, wellbeing resources and a competitive salary within the CGL points 23 to 28 range (£28,558–£32,802) pro rata for part-time work.

Qualifications

  • Experience engaging with rough sleepers or people at risk of homelessness.
  • Understanding of local support services and pathways to housing and healthcare.
  • Ability to build trust with vulnerable individuals and collaborate with partners.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and engaging people who are rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness
  • Delivering assertive outreach and supporting people who may be reluctant to engage with services
  • Supporting people to access accommodation, healthcare, treatment and recovery services
  • Working closely with drug and alcohol services to reduce harm and improve wellbeing
  • Building strong partnerships with housing providers, local authorities and health services

We have an exciting opportunity for a HomelessnessOutreach Workerwho has the skills and experience to engage with people sleeping rough with the aim of moving them into more settled lifestyles.

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities
What you'll be doing

You'll spend much of your time out in communities, building relationships and connecting people with the support they need.

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Salary Range (pro rata if part time)

CGL points 23 to 28 (£28,557.79 - £32,802.41)
